You are viewing the Teaching Process Folio of Lindsay M. Shields
Welcome! My name is Lindsay and I am a certified drama (K-12) and English (7-12) teacher residing in New York City. This page represents thoughts, research, and other work I have done related to drama and English education. I prefer using technology to interact with my students and colleagues for three reasons. First, I am an environmentalist who is constantly seeking new ways to save natural resources. By creating an electronic portfolio, I save trees and petroleum. Secondly, technology is becoming increasingly prevalent in society. As one of my goals as a teacher is to prepare students for their futures, I need to know how to properly access and utilize technology in the classroom. Third, I can easily, instantly update and add information as things change and evolve in my head and the classroom. I invite you to browse this work-in-continuous-progress. Feel free to contact me personally or through the discussion tab at the top of this page with any questions, thoughts, and suggestions you may have.
